Today is supposed to be 99 degrees outside with a heat index of 105-110. The perfect day to layout and enjoy the pool, but no. I’m at work pipetting water. My latest job is to check to make sure the pipettes are working because the calibrator guy is coming in. FUN!!!! </sarcasm> Anyway, so after pipetting water to and from a plastic cup on a scale for 3 hours, I’ve finally had a chance to sit down and blog. I feel really bad that I was not able to upload the 1k Views video for today, but I will work on it tonight! I don’t understand why it wouldn’t let me upload it… I mean, it let me upload every single one of my five mess-ups… stupid camera. Note to self: you may want to invest in a video camera if you’re going to start shooting videos.
Blehhh. Other than that, I didn’t really do much. I have a Safety Training course tomorrow for an hour (YES!!!!)
In other news: Perez Hilton is assaulted (by will.i.am’s manager), huge scandal is created! Twitter war commences between Perez and will.i.am! World is split into Team Perez and Team will.i.am! (I hope you guys don’t think I’m SERIOUSLY concerned by all of this)
Oh and tonight is supposed to be the “life-changing announcement” for Jon and Kate Plus Eight. Hopefully it’s saying that their show has been cancelled and Speidi has been sent to an asylum.

Jackson Rathbone recently talked to Starlog about Twilight and New Moon.
Jackson talked about Twilight:
“So it [Twilight] was like a bigger-budget indie movie, and it felt like an indie film—just the way we were all making the film together and the way Catherine Hardwicke directs. It was a really fun vibe on the set. It was also a little bit stressful because as we kept filming, the press and the fans kept getting more into it…”
When talking about New Moon, Jackson said:
“We definitely have a bigger budget and more pressure to keep that feeling going. The nice thing is that in New Moon we get to delve more into the story.”
153 is the magic number, Twi-fans! It may seem long, but we do have Half-Blood Prince to look forward to… think glass half-full, guys. (;

Perez Hilton assaulted!

It looks like even the celebrities have bad days. Notorious blogger, Perez Hilton was assaulted by (supposedly) will.i.am and his body guards will.i.am’s manager. Beginning just after 3 am, Perez, who was in Toronto to present at Sunday night’s MuchMusic Awards, started tweeting about the alleged attack:
PerezHilton: I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.
PerezHilton: I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.
PerezHilton: Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.
Many of Perez’s followers on Twitter were confused why the blogger was tweeting about his attack and not focusing on getting help.
A few hours later, Will.I.am created his own Twitter account and responded to the accusations made by Perez.
“i just made a twitter account because it isnt cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies…”
The Black-Eyed Peas singer went on to question Perez’s motives for seeking help on Twitter:
“Sounds like somebody wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health… Shame on you, shame on your behavior, and that’s just messed up.”
Perez posted a statement video on his website. If you look at the comments, it seems like some people are skeptical. Do you think he’s just being a drama queen (no, that’s not a typo) or that he’s telling the truth?

I have to admit, when I first saw Perez’s tweet, I thought it was a joke… Serious matters should not be posted on Twitter as a first resort, even if you are a celebrity. I will keep posting on any updates to this story!

From rock to plastic?

It seems like Edward is trading in his rock body for plastic. Toys R Us has new product listings for Edward and Bella Barbie dolls. Bella is “dressed in her signature outfit from the movie.” Edward is “luminescent with a shimmering complexion and trademark gold eyes.”

I don’t think the Bella doll looks very similar, but man did they get that Edward doll down. Speaking of the dolls, I’m sure our stars are oh-so glad that Twi-fans everywhere will be able to carry them around and maybe fangirls will exert their enthusiasm on the doll Edward instead of harassing poor Rob in public (Meaning you, New York).
