Weekly Who Review (June 15-21)
June 19, 2009
Wow, what an amazing week we had! Since I’ll be filming the 1k Views video this weekend, I won’t have time to post this so I’m posting it today! :] Enjoy.
- Michael Buckley’s reaction video to 2 Girls 1 Cup // Warning: Turn your volume down! Hahaha, I LOVE Michael Buckley. I seriously couldn’t stop laughing at his reaction! This is SO funny… along with his other You Tube videos where he talks about Miley Cyrus, American Idol, etc. Watching his “What the Buck” channel on You Tube is the funnest way to hear about all the celebrity new/gossip!
- Twitter // So I first joined twitter just so I could stalk Perez Hilton (haha) and be updated on my favorite podcasts (Imprint and Muggle Cast), but as I started blogging more, I got addicted to Twitter because now I can promote the blog and be updated on Twilight/HP news by people who are actually involve din the movies such as directors and cast. Remember to follow me to be constantly updated on what’s new with the blog ;]]
- Plaid shirts // From hunky Robbie-P to stylish LC, plaid is what’s in right now. While my mother thinks wearing plaid makes you look like a plumber, I love the laid-back look. It’s casual, comfortable, and looks (surprisingly) good… so kudos to all plumber clothing lines.
- Adam Lambert on the cover of Rolling Stone Mag // Singing sensation, Adam Lambert, looked HOT on the cover of Rolling Stone MAgazine. In the article, he confirmed rumors about his sexuality (because we definitely didn’t know…) Speaking of Adam Lambert’s sexuality, he has been seen holding hands with hottie Drake LaBry. So cute! :]
- “Jello” by 100monkeys // I’m not going to lie and say I loved all their songs (some of them are kind of weird… like “Drunken Waltz”), but “Jello” is really catchy and I ended up really liking it. I first started listening to them because of Jackson Rathbone, but now I’m a big fan of the band. On their Myspace, they say that their music sounds like “crazy stuff.” I couldn’t agree more, haha, but definitely give them a listen. Maybe you’ll be surprised!
- Chelsea Handler // I love her, love her, love her. I really don’t know what else to say. She is hilarious.
- “Thug Story” by Taylor Swift ft. T-Pain // Oh-my-god. This seriously made me started cracking up. I still find her songs annoying (mainly bc they get stuck in my head, I don’t hate her music!), but my respect for her just went way up — this is hilarious! Good job, T-Swizzle.
- Jennifer Aniston joking about her love life at the Women in Film Crystal and Lucy Awards // Aww, I love Jennifer Aniston! I also love the fact that she can make fun of herself on national television. Not to mention the fact that she’s in her 40s and can still wear a metallic Prada minidress and look gorgeous!

At a Lakers event last night, actress Ashley Greene (“Alice Cullen” in the Twilight Saga) spoke with Access Hollywood about Rob’s taxi incident (which she was unaware of) and also dating rumors involving Adrian Grenier.

The Inferi are coming to life!
June 19, 2009
Well… in a way. ;]] The Los Angeles Times has a new interview with Tim Alexander, the visual effects supervisor in charge of bringing the Inferi to life.
DM: You’re going to scare a lot of little kids.
TA: Yeah, I think it will.
DM: Tell me about how the Inferi look. How did the design come about?
TA: The art department on the film gave us a lot of references, like Dante’s “Inferno,” where they have all those bodies. The Inferi themselves are very skinny and emaciated people. Very humanoid, but way skinnier than humans could be. Waterlogged and gray. We used the old lady that comes out of the tub in ‘The Shining’ as a reference. Most of the Inferi are adult, but we did also build two children, too.
DM: Yikes. Parents, you’ve been warned…
This is just one of the many reason the MPAA was stupid for rating HBP PG! I can only imagine the nightmares some little kid is going to have from watching this movie… not that a rating would stop them from watching it, but at least parents would be forewarned! Oh well, 27 days HP fans! I can’t wait!
XO, Becca.
