Ok, yesterday I thought this internship couldn’t get any more boring… I was so wrong. Guess what I did today.

… I was supposed to read INSTRUCTION MANUALS for parts of a digital stimulator.  oh – my – god.

FYI, I haven’t made it past page 10 (“4.0 Installation”)… pages 1-9 were diagrams. Good Lord, I hate my life. I can’t imagine actually doing this for a living, even if the salary is a hefty 6 digit number.

Alright, that’s all I have for you guys on my internship. It can only get better from here on, right? Let’s hope so.

XO, Becca.

PS. I’m beginning to hate the American 9-5 workday! Waking up at 7 am was not what I imagined of my summer…

With 36 days till Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due in theaters, the Harry Potter cast should be very excited. However, there’s one cast member who might be a little more excited than the rest: Emma Watson, who plays Hermoine Granger, is now the elegant face of Burberry. Apparently she has been working her magic outside the magical world of Hogwarts ;]
“Donning smoky eye makeup and Burberry classics like the signature print scarf and sleek trench coat, it is easy to see that this young starlet is all grown up.”

K-Stew’s got style.

June 9, 2009

We’re going to take a teensy break from the news and get into a little fashion ;] I don’t know about you, but I am loving K-Stew’s laid-back style. Who knew just slapping on a dress and throwing on some heels could produce such trendy results? Not convinced? Well, let’s pay tribute to one of Kristen’s past looks and my all-time favorite.

This is my favorite K-Stew ensemble. She rocked this look at the Twilight premiere in Los Angeles. Things I love:

  • The dress // K-Stew arrived at the LA premiere of Twilight in a modern monochromatic minidress by Balenciaga. Some people didn’t like the dress, but I loved it. It was simple and there was a kind of no-fuss air about it.
  • The hair // Oh my god, her hair is up (and not just in a pony-tail!) It’s a kind of messy-elegant updo and I think it really worked for her.
  • The clutch // I love clutches and I love Chanel (I also wish I could afford Chanel). Kristen’s Chanel clutch was gorgeous, ’nuff said.
  • The jewlery // The Chanel jewlery was simple and elegant. I think it worked really well with the overall ensemble.
  • The shoes // K-Stew wore a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels. They were simple and balanced with the black from her clutch. Perfect.

Kristen’s glam look seems effortless. Some Hollywood stars should take a leaf out of her book, but I’m not sure they’d be able to pull it off as well as our favorite Twilight heroine. ;]

Yesterday, I showed you the first part of Metro News’ New Moon set report. Today, they have posted the second feature which is a in-depth interview with Taylor Lautner, the actor of Jacob Black. In this tell-all interview, Lautner answers questions about his hot new bod, Chris Weitz, and what he likes in a girl.

Q. Let’s get to your character, Jacob. He is actually in love with Bella…
A. Jacob’s love for Bella is really intense. He will always be there for Bella, no matter what. Even if she’s with another guy… or a vampire!

Q. How did you prepare for your role?
A. I did a lot of study for the first film. Before I even started filming “Twilight”, I studied up on all of the Quileute tribes and legends and myths and everything about them. And when got yup to Portland, Oregon to film, I was able to meet with about ten Quileute tribal members. I got to talk to them and what I really learned is that they’re not much different than me, and that was very unexpected.
